Room 8 and Room 12 walked to Memorial Park. We looked at the river. We found bugs. You should ask us more about the trip because we had fun and we did lots of learning.

Fun with Water.
Room 8 worked with Sally from Watercare. We made a little river with rocks, wood and plastic. We made a lake too. We had lots of fun. We learnt that drains lead to the ocean, so please don't put any rubbish down a drain or throw rubbish away, because we don't want our sea animals to die.

Goodbye Jaslyn and Christian
We said goodbye to Jaslyn and Christian. We will miss them at May Road School.

Statistics: Sorting
We are learning about statistics. We had a large pile of shapes on the mat. We had to sort the shapes. We had to check which pile had the most of the same shape and which pile had the the least of the same shape. We did a great job of sorting and naming the shapes. Have a look!
