Shared Reading

We love to read Elmer stories by David McKee. We read Elmer and the Lost Teddy. Elmer is a great elephant - special, kind, different. We made our own patchwork elephants, just like Elmer.

Origami

Room 8 had a great time on  Friday learning about the art of origami. Buddy class Room 11 helped Room 8 children make a boat and a fox.

Learning about one half

In Room 8 we have been learning about one half. The task was to cut our banana in half. The two pieces of banana had to be the same size so we could equally share between two people.

Maths in Room 8

We are very excited about being able to share our learning with you. We love to learn about numbers and here are Jahrey and Damsey learning to put numbers in order.
